TRADITION CONTINUES

THE Mornington Peninsula wine region celebrates coming of age at its 21st Winter Wine Weekend on June 6-8.

Since 1988, Mornington Peninsula wineries have welcomed one and all over Queen's Birthday weekend.

The event kicks off with Winter Wine Fest on Saturday at Red Hill Reserve when 50 Mornington Peninsula wineries will offer wine tastings and sales, complemented by food from local producers and restaurateurs, plus special events.

Seminars on wine and food matching, cool climate white wines and pinot noir are also offered.

Tickets are $35 at the door or $30 pre-booked. Red Hill Shuttle is offering transport from Melbourne and points between. For more information, call the MPVA on 59892377 or check the website www.mpva.com.au
