A FREE forum for women living with breast and gynaecological cancers will be held in Frankston next week.
'Recipes for Living: finding the new normal after a cancer diagnosis' is the topic of the forum hosted by BreaCan, a Melbourne-based cancer support service.
Jo Lovelock, a Mornington-based breast care nurse and breast cancer survivor of six years, said it would be an opportunity for women, whether just diagnosed or with advanced cancer, to connect with each other, share experiences and learn about local support services.
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre psychologist Maria Ftanou will discuss how a cancer diagnosis affects different facets of a woman's life.
Recipes for Living is at Frankston International, 389 Nepean Highway, Frankston, on Saturday, November 14, 9.30am-3.30pm. To register and for more information, call BreaCan on 1300 781 500 or email breacan@breacan. org.au
